Opening of the camp, introduction of the staff
Brief history of Turku and a City walk

Day 4 Education Module, One Day Carpenter

Building bird houses in pairs, getting to know different wood material, hands-on carpentry and painting

Day 5 Education Module, Extreme Temprature Experiments

Morning workshop at the University of Turku Phýsics Lab, makin ice-cream using liquid nitrogen
Visit to Tuorla planetarium and observatory

Day 6, Education Module, Lego Robot Workshop

Visual programming and building a lego robot in small groups
Wrapping things up and you get the certificate of the Education Module

Day 7, Nature Module, Fishing

Transfer to the Nature Camp
Fishing in different ways

Day 8, Nature Module, Sailing Day

A day at the sea on board the Northern Europe’s oldest wooden galley Olga
Learning to make sailor’s knot, how to navigate the ship and preparing salmon soup lunch on board

Day 9, Nature Module, Berry Picking and Baking

Guided walk in the forest to pick blueberries. Baking blueberry pie at the kitchen
Learning to make open fire and preparing your food

Day 10, Nature Module, Archipelago Olympics

Fun outdoor games in small groups

Day 11, City Module, Helsinki
